Is Generic Voltarol a strong painkiller?

The doses of Generic Voltarol (diclofenac) are the same for each. It usually takes 1 to 2 days to work. For arthritis, you may need to use the gel for up to 7 days on the painful joint in order to feel the full effect.
Is Generic Voltarol topical a blood thinner / controlled substance?

Why are you not supposed to use Generic Voltarol on your back?
It reduces inflammation and pain. Generic Voltarol gel is approved for use on arm and leg joints only. It has not been studied for use in the hips or spine. You should not use Voltaren gel to treat muscle pain in other areas of the body, such as the lower back
How long can Generic Voltarol be used for?
Generic Voltarol Max Strength Pain Relief 2.32% Gel is for use only on your skin. Do not use this medicine for more than 14 days unless longer treatment is recommended by a doctor. If the pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days, or if they get worse, tell your doctor.
