The molecular formula is C12H21N of Memantine HCl and the molecular weight is 215.76. The medication is white in color and is soluble in water.

The medicine is found in both tablet and oral solution form. Memantine HCl is available for oral administration as capsule-shaped, film-coated tablets containing 5 mg and 10 mg of Memantine Hydrochloride. Croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, and magnesium stearate are also remaining in the tablet form of the medicine.
